Lab Supervisor- Midtown Posted 4/11/2012

Position:  Lab Supervisor

Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5

Location: Midtown

 Responsible for the efficient operation of laboratory.  Ensure accurate and timely
    testing procedures.  Assure compliance with applicable regulations regarding
    laboratory operations.
    Establish and monitor policies and procedures for overall testing performance.
    Establish and monitor quality assurance, quality control, proficiency testing and
    routine maintenance policies and procedures.
    Review patient test results, quality control, proficiency testing and maintenance
    records. Ensure that patient test results are not reported until all corrective
    Actions have been taken and the test system is properly functioning.
    Maintain awareness of and compliance with state and federal regulations.
    Enforce safety standards.
    Order supplies and equipment; evaluate new equipment and reagents for technical
    suitability and cost effectiveness.
    Supervise lab personnel to include training and performance evaluation.
 

REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related science field.  Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.  Minimum five years experience in laboratory testing.  Previous supervisory experience preferred. 
ASCP or equivalent certification required

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Boulder/Longmont

Position: Mid Level Practitioner

Location: Boulder/Longmont

Job Description: Perform clinical and diagnostic procedures.
Following documented training; performs diagnostic
 procedures including bone marrow aspirate and biopsy.
 Teach prevention and early detection classes and conduct
 cancer screening.
 Provide case management for oncology clients.
 Provide diagnostic and pharmacologic management of the
 disease process and treatment side effects
 Act as a resource to nursing staff and other health care
 team members.
 

Requirements: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current state certification of Nurse Practitioner.
Current CPR certification required.
ACON certification required.
