Dr. Tell is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and is a principle investigator for the Southwest Oncology Group and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project.
Dr. Tell is married and has five children. During his spare time, he enjoys golfing.
Dr. Tell obtained his doctorate in osteopathic medicine through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His residency and fellowship in hematology and medical oncology were completed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Tell has published numerous articles related to cancer, which can be found in various professional journals.
